Vinyl Acetate-co-Ethylene copolymers (VAE) are used as cement and plaster or as a binder resin for inorganic materials such as gypsum and hydrated lime. They can be used as the sole binder resin for construction adhesives. As a modifier, VAE-RDPs improve flex strength, crack resistance, adhesion, abrasion & impact resistance, and water repellency.
Applications include the formulation of construction materials such as tile adhesives, grouts, finishing plasters, troweling compounds, thin set mortars and sealing slurries..
Our grades of VAE-RDPs range from low Tg soft materials to medium Tg flexible materials to high Tg harder materials, and specialty grades.
