General Description
PTMEG polyols are waxy, white solids that melt to clear, colorless, viscous liquids above room temperature. They are linear, polymeric, primary diols with repeating (C4H8O) units in the backbone. PTMEG polyols dissolve in a wide variety of organic solvents. While insoluble in water, they do absorb water. The PTMEG polyols are stabilized with BHT at 200-350ppm. In the empirical formula above, n~14 for the 1000 grade and n~27 for the 2000 grade.
