4,4'-Methylenebis(2-ethylaniline) (MBOEA)

4,4'-Methylenebis(2-ethylaniline) (MBOEA) is a high-performance curative and chain extender for isocyanate pre-polymers and epoxy resins, offering superior mechanical and dynamic properties. It demonstrates higher reactivity than MOCA and is often used in combination with MOCA and other curatives like DETDA. MBOEA is primarily applied in the CASE markets, including coatings, adhesives, sealants, and cast elastomers, due to its excellent hydrolytic resistance, resiliency, and abrasion resistance. Its hindered aromatic amine structure provides benefits such as low heat build-up under compression, superior durability, and enhanced processing efficiency.
