Cosmonate M-50 is a specialized MDI commonly used in the production of automotive headrests and rigid polyurethane foam. It is easy to handle and store at temperatures as low as -5°C. This solvent-free form, with a maximum viscosity of 130 cps at 25°C, is a mixture of monomeric MDI (4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate) and its oligomers, including dimer, trimer, and tetramer.
