Diethyl Toluene Diamine (DETDA)

Diethyltoluenediamine (DETDA) is a high-performance liquid aromatic diamine used as a curative in polyurea, urethanes, and epoxy systems, enhancing strength, durability, and chemical resistance. Our standard DETDA offers fast cure time and excellent toughness for general high-performance applications. In polyurea spray elastomers, it provides excellent abrasion and weather resistance, making it ideal for protective coatings. DETDA also improves chemical and temperature resistance, toughness, and impact resistance in epoxy resins and cast elastomers, suitable for industrial parts like wheels and bushings, and can be used in polyurethane resin injection molding (RIM).
