Dimethyl Thio-Toluene Diamine (DMTDA)

Dimethylthiotoluene Diamine (DMTDA) is a high-performance liquid aromatic diamine used as a curative in polyurea, urethanes, and epoxy systems, enhancing strength, durability, and chemical resistance. It provides excellent abrasion and weather resistance in polyurea spray elastomers, ideal for protective coatings, and extends pot life for applications requiring longer working times without compromising cure speed. DMTDA also improves chemical and temperature resistance, toughness, and impact resistance in epoxy resins and cast elastomers, suitable for industrial parts like wheels and bushings, and can be used in polyurethane resin injection molding (RIM). It is the preferred curing agent for applications requiring extended pot life and final cure strength.
