4,4’-methylenebis(2-methyl-6-ethylaniline) (MMEA) is a chain extender used for polyurethane elastomers and is known for significantly improving mechanical and dynamic properties. MMEA is applied in casting polyurethane (CPU), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), RIM elastomers, spray polyurea, and epoxy resins as a hardener. Additionally, it serves as a raw material in the synthesis of Polyimides and Maleimides, offering light coloration and superior aging resistance. MMEA also offers exceptional heat resistance, chemical durability, and adhesive qualities.
