Vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) copolymer dispersions are synthesized via emulsion polymerization from the monomers vinyl acetate and ethylene. VAE dispersions provide environmental advantages since they exhibit good film-forming properties without coalescing agents. VAE dispersions are utilized for a wide range of applications including, tile and grout, concrete and cement, and flexible polyurethane foams.
