HER (hydroxyethyl resorcinol) is an aromatic diol chain extender of polyurethane pre-polymers. HER exhibits good compatibility with MDI and MDI prepolymers and is used in cast polyurethane and TPU applications. HER exhibits the characteristic of super-cooling and is less prone to solidification or precipitation vs HQEE (hydroquinone-bis-hydroxyethyl ether).
