Diacetone Acrylamide (DAAM) is a white crystalline solid used as a crosslinking monomer to create functional copolymers. It readily copolymerizes with vinyl acetate monomer, MMA, acrylic esters, acrylamide, and styrene in various systems such as solution, bulk, or emulsion systems. DAAM is used in the production of emulsion polymers, water-soluble resins, sizing agents, thickeners, coatings, adhesives and sealants. Its applications span waterborne coatings, textile and paper treatments, photosensitive resins, personal care products, offering versatility across industries.
